Anyone going to Anthrocon this year? Would you like to join in for a morning and afternoon run?

I'll be staying at the Double Tree this year again since they were so nice to me last year. I was curious if anyone wanted to run in the early morning and afternoon(dusk or sunset). I tend to run instead of drinking coffee or taking stimulants to wake up, I'm a fairly active person unless I don't get my jumpstart.

If joining me in the afternoon, I'd recommend you carry a pistol. I personally prefer to walk or run with at least two people for safety reasons. I like to stay around trained people who properly use firearms for safety reason, I don't want the responsibility of walking around with another who is untrained. I recommend wearing PTs or BDU shorts while running, except in the afternoon unless your body thinks the temperature at to be normal.

Even though some will have you believe Pittsburgh is "safe", they are greatly mistaken. I carry a firearm even when while doing my morning run. If you're going to open carry a firearm, then do so using a decent retention holster. Zone 2 shouldn't give anyone issues if they're doing so, but if that is the case make sure you save the number 412-255-2827 to your cellphone. The number is the Zone 2 operations, ask for the supervisor upon an unlawful act by an officer, even if the act is detainment. Remember, "Ignorance is no excuse for not knowing the law."

I don't know many here are active and trained. Please don't carry a firearm if you join me unless you're a dead shot.
